Sponsor A Child Today

Biography:  Parents are desperately poor and backward. The child’s father is a chronic tuberculosis patient leaving only the mother to earn and provide food for the entire family. Because the father is sick and unable to earn, he is incapable of buying medicines. He is not an old man, if treated he will live for many years. Their village is close by a tributary of River Godavary. He can go to the river bed in ten minutes. The 'Bay of Bengal' is less then six miles from his village. The village is full of coconut gardens. Their staple food is rice. They eat rice, dhal, fish, vegetables and green leaves.  He has two boys, Madhu is the older. He is sharp and clever and willing to learn. They have seasons. – Summer, rainy, autumn and winter. Madhu is a talented boy, can sing Christian songs and plays well. He is a social child, mingles with everybody.  Please pray for this child as he is learning about the love of Jesus.
